We like community. We do not like creepy data practices. Also, cookies are delicious. This Privacy & Cookies Policy explains how My Creative Vitality LLC dba Kaleidoscope Penguin Collective ("KPC") collects, uses, shares, and protects information.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Depending on your interaction with KPC, we may collect:

telephone number;
billing information;
transaction information;
event registrations;
membership information;
gift card information;
communications with KPC;
rental inquiries;
instructor or contractor information;
newsletter preferences;
accommodation information you choose to provide;
information submitted by a parent or guardian regarding a minor;

other information you voluntarily provide.
We try to collect information because we need it, not because accumulating data is apparently a hobby now.

coordinate instructors and contractors;
respond to accommodation requests;

protect KPC, participants, and others.
3. PAYMENT INFORMATION
Payments may be processed through Humanitix, Stripe, or other payment providers.
Available methods may include major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and other supported methods.
When payment credentials are submitted directly to a third-party processor, KPC generally does not receive or store your complete payment-card number.
4. TECHNOLOGY AND SERVICE PROVIDERS
KPC currently uses or may use:
Squarespace for website functionality.
Humanitix for event registration and ticketing.
Stripe for payment processing.
Mailchimp for newsletters and communications.
Google Workspace for email, documents, administration, and collaboration.
Facebook and Instagram, operated by Meta, for social media, communications, promotion, and community engagement.
LinkedIn for professional communications and community engagement.
Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal as available payment methods through applicable processors.
These companies may independently process information under their own privacy policies.
We may change providers as KPC grows.
5. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
Our website and service providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, analytics, and similar technologies for:
essential website functions;
remembering preferences;
understanding website usage;
measuring performance;
preventing fraud;
communications; and
marketing or advertising where implemented and permitted.
The exact technologies may change as our website configuration changes.
Where required by applicable law, KPC will provide appropriate choices or consent mechanisms.
6. EMAIL
If you subscribe to our mailing list, we may send information about events, classes, memberships, artists, community happenings, and other KPC news.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link provided in those communications.
Transactional communications concerning something you purchased, registered for, rented, or requested are different and may still be sent when reasonably necessary.
7. SOCIAL MEDIA
When you interact with KPC through Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or another social network, that platform may collect information independently.
Information you publicly post on social media may be visible to others.
We unfortunately do not possess the ability to make the internet forget things.
8. INFORMATION SHARING
KPC may disclose information:
to vendors providing services to KPC;
to an instructor or event partner when reasonably necessary to administer a program;
to payment and registration providers;
when you request or authorize disclosure;
to accountants, attorneys, insurers, or other professional advisers where reasonably necessary;
in connection with a merger, sale, restructuring, or transfer of business assets;
when reasonably necessary to protect people, rights, or property; or
when required by law.
9. WE DO NOT SELL YOUR COMMUNITY
KPC does not intend to sell personal information for money.
Some privacy laws use broader definitions of "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising. Where such laws apply, KPC will provide legally required notices and choices.
10. CHILDREN
KPC offers some programming that includes children, but our general website is not intended to solicit personal information directly from young children without appropriate adult involvement.
Parents and guardians should submit registration information for minors when appropriate.

11. ACCESSIBILITY AND OTHER PERSONAL INFORMATION
If you provide information concerning an accommodation, allergy, dietary restriction, accessibility need, or other personal circumstance, please provide only information reasonably necessary for us to assist you.
We will use such information for the relevant request or program and related legitimate operational purposes.

KPC uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to our operations.
No website, email account, cloud platform, payment system, or carrier pigeon can be guaranteed completely secure.
We therefore cannot promise absolute security.
13. RETENTION
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for legitimate business, accounting, tax, dispute-resolution, insurance, security, and legal purposes.
Different records may have different retention periods.
14. YOUR CHOICES
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, or other treatment of personal information.
