Accessibility Statement
Last Updated: September 27, 2026
Kaleidoscope Penguin Collective (“KPC”) is committed to creating a space where people can participate, connect, learn, make things, attend events, and be part of community.
Accessibility is part of that commitment.
We work to make both our physical space and our online information accessible to people with disabilities and to continually improve accessibility as we learn, grow, and receive feedback.
Our Website
We aim to make the KPC website usable by as many people as reasonably possible, including people who use assistive technologies.
Our website is built using Squarespace, which provides the underlying website platform and technology. We work within that platform to support accessible website design and content.
Because websites, technology, and content change over time, we cannot promise that every page or feature will always be completely accessible with every device, browser, or assistive technology. We welcome feedback when something isn't working.
Events and Programs
We want people to be able to participate in KPC events and programs.
Accessibility can look different for different people and different events. Event descriptions may include accessibility information when relevant, and we encourage attendees to contact us with accommodation requests or accessibility questions.
When you request an accommodation, we will work with you in good faith to understand the request and identify reasonable options.
Some events held at KPC may be independently organized or presented by another person or organization. We will work with event partners where appropriate to help address accessibility needs.
Our Physical Space
We strive to provide clear information about the accessibility of our physical space and events so that people can make informed plans before arriving.
If you have questions about entrances, seating, restrooms, mobility access, sensory considerations, service animals, or another aspect of accessing the space, please contact us.
Service Animals
KPC welcomes service animals as required by applicable law.
Service animals are permitted in areas where members of the public are allowed to go, subject to the requirements and limitations of applicable law.
Communication and Alternative Formats
If information on our website, event registration page, or other materials is difficult for you to access, please contact us.
When reasonably possible, we will work with you to provide the information in another accessible format or through another method.
Third-Party Platforms
KPC uses third-party services including Squarespace, Humanitix, Google Workspace, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Those platforms are independently operated, and KPC does not control all aspects of their accessibility.
If a third-party platform creates an accessibility barrier that prevents you from getting information from KPC, registering for an event, or communicating with us, please contact us directly. We will work with you to identify another reasonable way to access the information or complete the process.
Feedback
Accessibility is an ongoing process, not a box we check once.
If you encounter an accessibility barrier involving our website, physical space, an event, or KPC communications, we want to know.
Please contact us through our Contact page and, when possible, tell us:
what you were trying to access;
what barrier you encountered;
the webpage, event, or material involved; and
a preferred way for us to respond.
We will review accessibility feedback and work to address barriers when reasonably possible.
Our goal is simple: more people should be able to participate, not fewer.
